SUMMER CAMP DAY 6

 The sun finally came out. Entered the Nugget 1:00 PM deep stack 25K guarantee. Caught some good cards, played 12 hours to the final table and came in 7th out of 268. My confidence is restored. The payout is in casino chips so of course management is hoping you drop a few bucks in the casino on the way out. Sorry Charley. There was a huge line at the cashiers cage so I just came back to my hotel. So other than playing poker not much else to report today.

SUMMER CAMP DAY 5

 Played at the Nugget in a small buy in with a 10K guarantee. Starting stack of 20K and ran it up to 70K. Then I gave it all back but at least I had a decent run of cards for a change. 

Somehow I managed to get an insect bite on my wrist and it itches like the devil. Probably a spider bite. 

Tomorrow at the Nugget again but this time a 25K guarantee. Stay tuned!!

P.S. Went to Vic & Anthony's for a late bite to eat. Had the greatest steak tartar, Caesar salad and bread pudding. The bread pudding won the best desert in Las Vegas and it was.

SUMMER CAMP DAY 4

 Summer Camp Day 4 was exactly the same as 1,2 and 3. Tournaments did not treat me well. No cards and bad beats. Must have really pissed off the poker Gods. Nice sushi dinner, to bed and back at em tomorrow. Over due for some decent runs.

SUMMER CAMP DAY 3

 Day 3 of summer camp could not have been worse. Played in the Wynn seniors event. Got knocked out. Re-bought got knocked out. Went to the Golden Nugget and entered their 200K guaranteed got knocked out. Re-bought got knocked out. I will not bore you with how terrible my hands were or my bad beats when I managed to make a hand. I will get up off the mat and play again tomorrow.

The Nugget has an excellent Japanese restaurant called RED where I had one of the best Sweet & Sour Pork dinners I have ever had. That and a glass of Kirin all for $30. Not bad. Pray for me. 

SUMMER CAMP DAY 2

Well day 2 started off OK with a nice breakfast but unfortunately went down hill from there. The Golden Nugget had a PLO8 and NLH tournament that I entered. Every 8 hands the game is switched. Now most anyone might have thought that PLO8 meant a split game with high hand splitting the pot with a low hand of 8 or better. I found out the hard way that PLO8 in this instance only meant 8 handed not 8 low. I lost a nice pot but adjusted quickly. Still only got by half the field before getting knocked out.

My evening tournament was still at the Nugget and again it was two games but this time it was 7 stud 8 or better and limit Omaha 8 high low. Now these are two of my favorite games but unfortunately i was simply card dead but again managed to get through half the field.

Tomorrow I will be at the Wynn playing NLH in a seniors tournament. Hope my cards get better. Stay tuned!

SUMMER CAMP DAY 1

Got up at 5:30 A.M. and with Jean driving left at 6:00 for Midway and SW Airlines. Lines were ridiculously short, the plane left right on time and arrived in Vegas a half hour early. Called my usual Lyft ride and arrived at the 4 Queens (the only hotel in Vegas with no resort), Early check in was $25 so just checked my bags and had breakfast in the coffee shop.

After breakfast walked over to the Golden Nugget to check their tournament schedule. They has a Limit Omaha 8 that had just started so I jumped right in. Unfortunately I only lasted through half the field. Checked into my room at the 4Queens and am getting ready to play with my computer group. Thursday the Wynn has a $550 Seniors buy in that I am going to play in. Stay tuned!

This is Laurence Lubliner reporting that the election of Nov. 3rd is still to close to call and that President Trump has declared the election null and void. He has said that there was massive cheating by the Democrats thus he should remain President for the next four years. He declared marshal law and disbanded Congress. The United States has become a dictatorship run by the Trump family.

President Trump has declared Fox News the official voice of the White House in print, television and radio. All other news media shall cease and desist immediately or be subject to immediate arrest and incarceration with no trial. 

All books and articles reflecting negatively on President Trump shall be immediately removed from all libraries and any protesters shall be jailed. The military will enforce a curfew of 9 PM and no public gatherings of over 20 people.

He has reached out to form an alliance with North Korea and Russia. 

In response to these draconian measures, anarchy is currently running rampant throughout the country with armed clashes between Trump supporters and those who wish to keep Democracy as our way of life. Gun sales have skyrocketed and the financial markets have dropped limit down for the last few days with retirees losing massive amounts of money. 

The United States of America is no longer united but deeply divided. Is our Democratic way of life over? It appears to be.
